  1. Before Healy Consultants commences the incorporation process, we request our Clients to i) sign our engagement letter and courier us ii) the signed letter along with all the required due diligence documents and iii) settle Healy Consultants’ engagement fees;
  2. Our experts will draft a detailed engagement plan for our Clients, detailing by week every step towards engagement completion. This plan will optimize work transparency and settle our Client’s expectations;
  3. Healy Consultants and the Client agree on the corporate structure for the company. Healy Consultants proceeds to reserve the Client’s preferred company name with the Corporate and Intellectual Property Office (CAIPO). Please check the availability of your company name here;
  4. Our Client provides us the address of their preferred office space in Barbados. However, If the Client is unable to locate an office space, Healy Consultants will be pleased to provide our legal registered address service until the Client is able to finalize their own space;
  5. After the name is approved, Healy Consultants prepares i) Memorandum and Articles of Association ii) Notice of Directors iii) Notice of Address and iv) Notice of Secretary Appointment. These documents will, thereafter, be emailed to the Client for their signature and courier return;
  6. On receipt of the above, Healy Consultants will submit a high quality company incorporation application along with the supporting documents to the CAIPO to complete company incorporation;
  7. After the company incorporation is completed, Healy Consultants will register the new company for corporate income tax with the Barbados Revenue Department. Thereafter, we will also register the company for VAT purposes with the Customs and Excise Department;
  8. Next, Healy Consultants will secure an International Business Company License from the relevant Ministry. Also, we will register the company with National Insurance Scheme and prepare a company seal for future usage;
  9. Meanwhile, our bank account opening team will approach a local or international bank to open a corporate bank account for the new company. After the account is opened, our Client will proceed to deposit the share capital into the account;
  10. The company registration process is now complete. With the engagement complete, Healy Consultants will courier a full company kit to our Client; the kit includes the original corporate documents, unopened bank correspondence and a feedback form.
