There is a new agreement signed between Dubai Police and Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), confirming that Dubai Police will soon has a new service counter which is dedicated to serve customers and residents in the area. The counter will be placed at JAFZA administration building.
In accordance with the new agreement between these two parties, the dedicated counter will provide various police services, including payment of traffic fines, receipt of findings, good conduct certificates, requesting reservation, query request, decoding vehicle and so on. On top of these, the Dubai Police service counter also provides reports in diverse case and assists in work permit requests.
The agreement was signed by Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Chairman of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, Dubai Police Chief at the JAFZA headquarters, and Chairman of DP World Sultan Ahmad Bin Sulayem.
As per Bin Sulayem’s words, this agreement will advance the partnership between Dubai Police and Jebel Ali Free Zone as well as improve the opportunities of progress within the Emirate of Dubai. He is confident that this collaboration is a vital point to enhance Dubai’s economy and the development in the UAE as a whole.
Al Mazeina agrees with Bin Sulayem, highlighted that this agreement is going to advance the security environment in Jebel Ali Free Zone in general.
“It will serve a large segment of investors and companies in the free zone so that everyone exercises their activities in a commercial and advanced, urban atmosphere and keeps pace with the advanced boom in the Emirate of Dubai.” said Al Mazeina.
Thus, after the agreement, Jebel Ali Free Zone will be better regulated and its internal security environment will be enhanced. Consequently, foreign entrepreneurs will be able to feel safe and trust the businesses in Jebel Ali.
