Accountant

Our Firm has an opening for an Accountant to help with a wide spectrum of tax and accounting functions for Healy Consultants Group and our clients.
Job Scope The role will include execution, and provision of support for, the following activities: i) Preparing financial statements and tax returns for Healy Consultants' group companies. ii) Liaising with auditing Firms and international tax authorities, including a) the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore and b) Inland Revenue Department of Hong Kong. iii) Monthly book keeping for Healy Consultants Group of companies and for Clients; iv) Managing global real estate investments, income and expenses; v) Ensure timely and accurate tax and accounting work for clients; vi) Updating our client database; vii) All responsibilities related to GST for clients.
What sort of person are we looking for?
i) Someone with an accounting or finance related degree (CPA qualification is not required) ii) Someone who has strong time management, attention to detail and analytical skills; iii) Someone who is able to work both independently and in a team environment; iv) Someone with no more than 3 years post graduate work experience. v) Someone who has a desire to broaden and develop their financial/accounting experience further. vi) Someone who has excellent oral and written English language skills.
Reporting lines
In addition to clients, the accountant reports to the Managing Director
Time allocation
Time allocated is broken down roughly as follows:
	i) Ensuring timely and accurate tax and accounting work for clients – 60% ii) Liaising with tax authorities and auditors – 20% iii) Updating the client database – 10% iv) All responsibilities related to GST for clients – 5% v) Personal Development 5%
Software skills
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications is mandatory.

Salary and benefits
The role offers a monthly starting salary of $2,000 rising to between $3,000 and $5,000 after a probation period of 3 months.
