1.
Our client settles our fees and signs Healy Consultants' engagement letter.
2.
Healy Consultants provides our client with a detailed engagement plan, outlining a roadmap for the upcoming Malaysia company set up, thus minimising unwanted surprises and meeting client expectations.
3.
Healy Consultants' incorporation team legally begins Malaysia company set up with the correct corporate structure, see also Malaysia company registration procedures.
4.
Healy Consultants' incorporation team performs a company name search with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) and, if approved, we proceed with Malaysia company set up.
5.
Proceeding with Malaysia company set up, our team emails the Memorandum and Articles of Association, director and shareholder consent forms, and a Declaration of Compliance, to our client for his signature and return to us.
6.
Assuming our client emails the above signed documents to us in a timely manner (originals to follow by courier), Healy Consultants Incorporation Team liaises with the CCM to complete Malaysia company set up, including paying the business registration fee.
7.
Healy Consultants’ incorporation team receives an email of the Certificate of Incorporation from the CCM which our Malaysia company set up team immediately forwards the same to you.

On the clients behalf, Healy Consultants' Malaysia set up team files a register of shareholders, directors, managers and secretaries with the CCM.
9.

13.
Healy Consultants assists our client obtain corporate finance, trade finance and open merchant accounts to support Malaysia company set up.
14.
Healy Consultants helps our client to locate business premises and recruit local staff.
15.
Healy Consultants assists our client with business website building, search engine advertising, as well as stationary and logo design, to further support Malaysia company set up.
16.
To attract and maintain foreign investment, some laws with regards to foreign ownership or company set up have been relaxed in Malaysia. Foreign ownership limit of stock brokerages will be increased to 70% from 49%. Also, 100% foreign control in wholesale fund management firms is now allowed. The limit for unit trust companies has also been increased to 70%.
