Latvia Company Set up Procedures

Prior to Latvia company set up, Healy Consultants collects the required due diligence from our client, including passport copies, proof of address, and details of the company's intended activities.

In advance of Latvia company registration, our client and Healy Consultants also agree the company name and the optimum corporate structure, including shareholders and directors.

Healy Consultants' incorporation staff prepare the signatories’ cards, to be certified by a notary, and the companies deeds.

Healy Consultants submits the notarised application to the Commercial Register.

As per Latvia company set up regulations, Healy Consultants banking team open a bank account to obtain a receipt of reference from the bank

Healy Consultants registers with the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia by preparing and submitting the following documents:

i) Registration application;

ii) Charter of the company;

iii) Foundation agreement;

iv) Minutes of the meeting;

v) Proof of investment;

vi) Verification of company's official address;

vii) Notarised list of signatories authorized to sign on behalf of the company;

viii) Special license;

ix) Information of the founders;

x) Power of attorney.

Healy Consultants' incorporation team registers for VAT with the State Revenue Service.

Concluding Latvia company registration, Healy Consultants applies for publication in the official gazette, Latvijas Vestnesis.

Following Latvia company registration, Healy Consultants provides our client with a complete company kit including:

i) Original Certificate of Incorporation;

ii) A bound copy of Latvia government approved Articles of Association;

iii) Original share certificates;

iv) An original Latvia government receipt as evidence of payment of annual Latvia company registration and license fees.

To support Latvia company set up, Healy Consultants' Banking Team completes corporate bank account opening for our client. The account includes world-class multi-currency Internet banking facilities and our client is not required to visit Latvia to complete this task.
