10 steps to incorporate in Kosovo in 2024

1. Prior to incorporating a legal entity in Kosovo, Healy Consultants expects Clients to i) settle the Healy Consultants engagement fee ii) sign and return the Client engagement agreement letter and iii) provide all the required due diligence documents;
2. Healy Consultants drafts a detailed engagement project plan mapping out a step by step process in order to optimize transparency and to set the Client’s expectations towards the engagement completion;
3. Healy Consultants Kosovo Incorporation Team prepares and sends our Client the Memorandum and Articles of Association together with the shareholders and directors consent forms for the Client’s signature and courier back to Healy Consultants head office;
4. After agreeing with the Client on the best corporate structure for the proposed Kosovo company, Healy Consultants prepares the required incorporation documents and registers the company with the Kosovo Business Registration Agency (KBRA) and obtains the Business Registration Certificate;
5. Subsequently Healy Consultants i) registers with the Kosovo Tax Administration and obtains the tax identification number and ii) registers the company for VAT and obtains a VAT certificate;
6. Healy Consultants International Banking Team assists our Client to open a corporate bank account with a top international bank in Kosovo with excellent internet banking facility;
7. Following successful incorporation of the company, Healy Consultants obtains an inspection of the business premises from the Kosovo Tax Administration;
8. If required by our Client, Healy Consultants Kosovo Company Incorporation Team registers the new company’s employees for the pension scheme with the Kosovo Tax Administration at the Kosovo Ministry of Finance;
9. If required, Healy Consultants will assist our Client with i) securing a business premise and ii) recruitment of local staff in Kosovo;
