Setting up a merchant account is normally achievable within three weeks, with Healy Consultants working to reduce any inconvenience or delays to our clients. Merchant account set up typically involves the following: |

Healy Consultants obtains preliminary approval from the account provider to proceed with merchant account set up, to ensure the company is not considered a high risk (see also our High Risk Merchant Account page). |

Healy Consultants completes the merchant account set up application on behalf of our client. |
3. |
Healy Consultants obtains formal approval from the account provider to proceed with merchant account set up. |
4. |
The account provider and our client agree on the terms and conditions laid out in the merchant account set up agreement, including issues such as transaction rates. |
5. |
Our client signs the merchant account set up agreement and pays the merchant account set up fee. |
6. |
Healy Consultants then assists our client to conduct a test transaction through the merchant account. |
7. |
Upon successful transaction, Healy Consultants will help our client to integrate the merchant account into their business website. |
