Our Corporate Services are truly Global
As a company we pride ourselves on our international reach and expertise. This week, like last, the truly global nature of our consulting services is evident, as we help our clients from all over the world grow their businesses around the world.
For example, a Europe-based client has engaged us to incorporate a South African company for him. This week our team is busy collecting due diligence from our client, and we expect with the expectation that incorporation will begin next week.
Closer to home, Healy Consultants is in the initial stages of assisting a major Thailand-headquartered property developer to list on the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX). The company, which develops luxury resorts in Thailand on behalf of a group of Swedish businessmen, seeks public finance to enable it to meet it’s ambitious resort development targets. At this stage, our corporate services team is liaising with the SGX to confirm eligibility to list. The next stage will be for our staff to prepare the company prospectus, with a view to the company going public sometime in 2009.
Meanwhile, a Moscow-based client has engaged us to launch his Asian software development business including i) recruiting a team of 10 IT staff ii) rent 700 square feet in our Orchard office premises iii) design and build a website for his Singapore business and iv) assist with Asian marketing campaigns..
Elsewhere, we have just initiated an interesting new engagement on behalf of a UK-based client. Our Client wants to set up a captive insurance company which will insure the risks of his group companies. After much research Liz, our Client Relationship Officer, found that a Mauritius company would be the ideal vehicle because it would be able to i) to obtain a license to carry out insurance-related services and ii) take advantage of Mauritius’ tax advantages.
Carrying on the global theme, Healy Consultants’ network of global affiliate offices is growing too. In just the last 2 weeks we have added new affiliates in Russia, Sweden, Germany and Italy, providing a useful point of contact to our new or existing clients in these countries.
Healy Consultants is assisting our American Client to establish a presence in Vietnam including i) company incorporation ii) ii) locating office premises iii) staff recruitment and visa iv) banking and taxation.
Healy Consultants is assisting our Ukraine Client obtain corporate and project finance from Asian banks.
In Dubai, we are assisting an Australian Client to set up a limited liability company to conduct architectural consulting services in the emirate. Elsewhere, a wealthy European Client has engaged us to assist with his relocation to Monaco, including incorporating a Monaco-resident company, assist with a residence visa and help with bank account opening.
Back in Singapore, a client has asked us to form a Singapore Trust to better manage his assets, and we expect to begin the engagement in earnest in the next week or so.
Healy Consultants is assisting our South African Client migrate to Singapore including i) purchasing Singapore property ii) arranging residence and entrepreneur visas iii) project managing schooling, medical insurance and banking and taxation.
In our office, our Marketing Team is busy as ever developing our group websites (Healy Consultants, Asia Business Set Up, Asia Property Consultants and our SEO website), adding new content and optimising the pages so they rank strongly on the search engines. Thanks to the Marketing Department’s efforts the Asia Business website (in addition to Healy Consultants) is now ranking on the first page of Google for a variety of search terms, and we hope the other two websites follow suit.
Healy Consultants is close to signing a large contract with a European Client to assist their Firm develop their business website and apply search engine advertising strategies.
