10 steps to incorporating in Ivory Coast

- Before Healy Consultants starts to incorporate our Client’s company in Ivory Coast, our Firm requests that he or she i) settles our fees requested to project-manage the engagement ii) signs and returns our engagement letter and iii) provides us scans of all the documents required for our due diligence checks;
- Healy Consultants assists our Client to decide on i) proposed company’s name and ii) the optimum corporate structure including directors and shareholders;
- Healy Consultants drafts a detailed Ivory Coast company setup engagement project plan. This plan will map out, week by week, each step to engagement completion, optimizing transparency and settling Client expectations;
- Healy Consultants assists our Client to decide on i) proposed company’s name and ii) the optimum corporate structure including directors and shareholders. Thereafter, we will engage a notary on behalf of our Client to draft the statutes and if required, certify the paid-in capital;
- Next, Healy Consultants will collect all necessary due diligence from our Client and details of the proposed company’s activities and then proceed to open a corporate bank account in Ivory Coast for the company with one of the recommended banks in Ivory Coast and then deposit the required initial capital into the corporate bank account and obtain a deposit slip;
- Healy Consultants will then reserve our Client’s company name at the Court and obtain a name reservation certificate;
- After this, Healy Consultants will have all registration documents translated into French and courier to our Client to sign and send back and then we will have them notarized;
- Next Healy Consultants will register the company at the Investment Promotion Centre in Ivory Coast (CEPICI) with i) Commercial Register ii) the Tax Authority and iii) the Social Security Institute, then proceed to publish the legal notice in the Journal Officiel de la République de Côte d’Ivoire. When the registration is complete, Healy Consultants will make a company seal for our Client’s company;
- After this, our Client will then supply Healy Consultants with a lease agreement of their office premises. If our Client does not have a business premise, Healy Consultants will provide Ivory Coast virtual office services for the first six months or until our Client finds a business address;
