Healy Consultants works with internationally recognised banks such as HSBC, Standard Chartered and Citibank to provide corporate bank account services. |
| 2. | Healy Consultants staff will prepare the Dubai corporate bank account application forms and attend a bank interview on your behalf. We are one of the few global professional firms to provide this service. |
| 3. | Dubai corporate banking service standards are inferior to those in established Asian banking centres such as Singapore and Hong Kong. While Healy Consultants endeavours to ensure that your Dubai corporate banking experience is positive and efficient, we do not normally recommend a Dubai corporate bank account to our clients when building global corporate structures. |
| 4. | The Dubai government requests local banks to implement strict 'know your client' procedures as part of their Dubai corporate banking and Dubai merchant account policy. Prior to opening a Dubai corporate bank account or Dubai merchant account, our client will be required to submit information on the Company's activities and shareholders' and directors' details. |
| 5. | As a result of the above, and other bureaucratic hurdles in Dubai, it is difficult for international companies to open a Dubai corporate bank account or Dubai merchant account. That said, Healy Consultants Dubai corporate banking team has a 100% approval record for obtaining Dubai corporate bank account approvals for our clients. |
| 6. | A comprehensive Dubai corporate bank account application must be supported by detailed information on the company's activities (including proof of business such as examples of contracts and invoices etc), information on the company's clients and suppliers, as well as information about its management team (shareholders and directors) and financial projections. Our Dubai corporate banking team will help prepare the necessary package of information to the bank's satisfaction. |
| 7. | Healy Consultants requires additional client due diligence, in addition to the information required by the bank, to enable us to assist with your Dubai corporate bank account or Dubai merchant account requests. |
| 8. | Please note that it will take two weeks for Healy Consultants Dubai corporate banking team to prepare a complete Dubai corporate bank account or Dubai merchant account application/proposal for submission. |
| 9. | Following submission of the Dubai corporate bank account or Dubai merchant account application, the bank typically requires a minimum of three weeks to review and approve the proposal and provide bank account numbers. The bank then issues Internet passwords and an ATM card a further two weeks afterwards. |
| 10. | Healy Consultants' fee to help you open a Dubai corporate bank account amounts to US$2,200. This fee includes the time spent by our Dubai corporate banking team liaising with the Dubai bank, submitting the Dubai corporate bank account application, attending a bank interview on your behalf, and preparing a detailed business plan as required. Please note that this fee does not include the initial deposit required by the Dubai bank. |
| 11. | Healy Consultants' fee to help you open a Dubai merchant account is US$1,950. Healy Consultants will handle
the Dubai merchant account application from start to finish, there will be no additional
costs for you to consider. The time period from initial application to having
the Dubai merchant account operating is three weeks. |
