1.	The population is approximately 71,800 in 2008.

7.	In 1278 the Co-Principality of Andorra was established by a treaty called the Pareage. It was ruled by the French head of State, and the Spanish Bishop of Urgell. This lasted well into the late 20th Century. The present Andorran constitution, introduced in 1993, formally enshrined Andorra as a Principality.
8.	Andorrans constitute a minority in their own country. Only 33% of the population hold Andorran nationality.
