The processes to set up a company in Australia is governed by the Corporations Act of 2001. The Act mandates that every Australian company (Proprietary Limited) must have at least one professional director who is resident in Australia.

Company law in Australia requires a Proprietary company to have at least one professional director resident in Australia, a public company requires three directors (two must be resident). Australia company registration requires the following documents to be filed with the Australian Company Registrar: i) notification of appointment of First Directors and Secretary, ii) letter of appointment of First Directors, iii) consent to Act as Director.

Our firm will provide a nominee to act as Australia professional director for an Australia company of any client who requires this service. The nominee will be a director of the company in name only and will not have other business responsibilities.

Healy Consultants' annual Australia professional director fee is to AU$4,950. In addition, Healy Consultants will collect a AU$1,500 refundable deposit from our client.
